October 2025 CVC Exchange Release Notes

Address Verification Tool

An address verification API is now integrated with the Abbreviated Enrollment Record (AER). Prior to submitting the AER to the Teaching College, students are now required to validate their California address. If the address cannot be verified, the student is prevented from submitting the application to the Teaching College.

Exchange Dashboard Update

New data elements are now available to CVC Exchange Dashboard administrators. When reviewing a single application, the following are now visible:

  • Registration Errors: Previously, you may have seen "Please contact support". We have now exposed the actual error response from the SIS or Ethos to better help administrators understand why their registration into a class may have failed. Students are still urged to contact support if their is an issue with their enrollment.
  • Payment Information: We have made it easier for colleges and our support teams to review unexpected issues with payment. For example, if a student make payment but the transaction is not reflected on their record in the SIS, then CVC's Support team will reach out to college business offices to reattempt the API transaction to ease reconciliation. Note: the account ledger tracing ID is used for internal purposes to identify the exact log within our middleware.

SuperGlue Workflow Improvements

As of October 8, 2025, the hot fix for the delivery of shared applications is live in production. This will vastly improve the delivery of applications to the shared application staging table. If your college or district is missing applications, please contact support@cvc.edu to reattempt the delivery.
