Health Information Technology (HIT) Progression Program

This program is designed to meet the needs of the registered health information technician (RHIT) who wants to earn a baccalaureate degree and progress to become a registered health information administrator (RHIA).

The program is designed for the convenience of the employed student. Classes are mediated through Blackboard.

To begin the program, the student must be an RHIT or eligible to sit for the RHIT certification exam and have a college GPA of 2.5 or above. Additional information will be sent to the student upon request.
